The shoulder straps are padded with Tin Cloth and lined with Moleskin to reduce slipping and increase breathability. The adjustable straps are contoured and attached to the backpack with vegetable-tanned Bridle Leather from Pennsylvania's Wickett & Craig tannery, known since 1867. Our Bridle Leather is treated with bark-tannin solution, and tallow and wax are added for flexibility and shine. This makes it suitable for both our luggage and equestrian equipment.
